The concept of productivity goes beyond the dollars and time, it means doing more with the same amount of resources. While on the micro level it might not be that significant, the impact on the macro level can bring in additional millions of profit a year. In Singapore where time and people are our most valuable resource, having productive workers will enable us to get more work done in a given time. Process Construction & Maintenance Management Committee (PCMMC) serves as a platform for Government Agencies, Energy & Chemical (E&C) companies and Main Contractors with different interests to address productivity issues in Singapore. Subsequently, with overwhelming support from various industry stakeholders, the Productivity Council (PC) was formed to tackle the productivity challenges faced in the E&C Industry of Singapore.
